Train Casting Steel Hydraulic Cylinder Accessories
The material of hydraulic cylinder accessories should be selected based on the specific accessory type:
Cylinder head material
Cast steel (such as ZG35, ZG45) or cast iron (such as HT200-350) is typically used. If the cylinder head also serves as the piston rod guide, cast iron is often used, with the guide surface clad with a wear-resistant material (such as brass or bronze).
Piston material
Wear-resistant cast iron (such as ductile iron), aluminum alloy, or carbon steel (such as 20#, 35#, and 45# steel) is typically used. Surface treatments (such as nylon or tin bronze alloy coatings) may be used for continuous high-load conditions.
Guide sleeve material
High-precision fit and wear resistance are required. Common materials include wear-resistant cast iron (such as QT400-18), bronze, or brass. Some newer designs use non-metallic materials for improved wear and corrosion resistance.
Other accessories
Sealing components are often made of elastomeric materials (such as K08-ES and S09-ES oil seals). The piston rod is often made of medium-carbon steel (such as 45# steel) to ensure strength and rigidity.
