440-490 HB Camshaft Thrust Plate
The thrust plate (also known as the toggle plate) is a key transmission component of the jaw crusher, providing both structural support and safety protection. 12
Construction Types
Thrust plates are primarily available in two configurations: assembled and integral. The assembled structure, consisting of an elbow body and two toggle plate heads, is commonly found in simple swing jaw crushers; the integral structure directly connects the movable jaw to the frame.
Main Functions
Power Transmission: Transmits the motor's driving force to the movable jaw, achieving crushing.
Safety Protection: When uncrushable material enters the crushing chamber, the toggle plate breaks first, preventing damage to the movable jaw, the crusher body, and other core components.
Support and Positioning: Secures the movable jaw, ensuring it swings along its intended trajectory.
Worn or broken thrust plates must be replaced promptly. Failure to do so could cause the movable jaw to fall out, damage the equipment, or interrupt production.
